13th Annual Golf Tournament at Bas Ridge

Peru Fire Rescue says Goodbye to their chief of 10 years as Eric Autenrieth retires and heads south to the Florida land...  Eric had been with PVFD for 35 years starting as a junior and working his way up to Chief.

He will perhaps be most remembered for his steadfast efforts at convincing the town to procure a new Fire Station since the old one had long since been outgrown.

PVFD had a farewell get together after the regular business meeting on Tuesday, September 26 for Eric which was heavily attended by fire service personnel from Peru, Middlefield and Hinsdale.

We all wish Eric  and Tracy well in their new adventures, and a safe trip down I95...
